Training and Research Committee

The Training and Research Committee (TRC), disbanded on 1/1/2012, made proposals and recommendations to the CEPOL Governing Board on the development of CEPOL's training, learning and research strategy.
The
Working Group on Learning, the
Research & Science Working Group and the
Common Curricula Coordination Working Group were assigned to the Training and Research Committee.
The tasks of the Training and Research Commitee included:
- Advising and supporting the work on common standards for training sessions;
- Contributing to the preparation of harmonised programmes (Common Curricula);
- Developing training for trainers;
- Disseminating best practice and research findings and developing a European approach to police science;
- Developing tools for training quality assurance;
- Facilitating relevant exchanges and secondment activities;
- Advising and supporting the development of e-learning modules.
The members of the Training and Research Committee met no more than three times a year.
