22/2017 Strategies in managing child sex offenders

The aim of this course is to assist EU Member States in sharing knowledge on the application and coordination regarding the transposition of the Directive 2011/93/EU of the European Parliament and of the Council of 13 December 2011 on combatting sexual abuse and sexual exploitation of children, and child pornography, replacing the Council Framework-Decision 2004/68/JHA.

27/2017 Crosscutting aspects of cyber investigations - cybercrime & cybersecurity

Aims:

  • to assist in a coordinated approach to cybercrime threats posed by digital underground economy and the challenge for police response arising from unprecedented advances in communications technologies, as well as from the globalisation of this criminal phenomenon without having a single jurisdiction;
  • to encourage a more centralised coordination at regional (e.g. EU) and interregional levels to streamline the fight against cybercrime.
