This course aims at:

  • enhancing police and customs cooperation and increasing information exchange and cross-border cooperation between EU Member States;
  • promoting cooperation and enhancing participants' knowledge on innovative methods and techniques regarding information exchange via PCCC;
  • promoting the European Best Practice Guidelines for Police and Customs Cooperation Centres.

Course managers and trainers will learn to use CEPOL's Learning Management System (based on Moodle) for the 2017 residential activities, and will get to know the reviewed and updated version of the LMS' Course Image (9.0). This webinar will also focus on how to find support for the use of Course Image 9.0 through the Educators' Platform, the National e-Net Managers, online video tutorials, our online module on Course Image 9.0 and the recorded webinars.

Participants will be able to implement a harmonised approach to cybercrime investigations within national law enforcement units and teams. They will learn how to make use of channels for international cooperation and to request information on criminal compliance to the private sector.

Participants will gain a better understanding of child trafficking, its different forms and the prevalence of each aspect of this type of crime. This activity is also aimed at improving the way participants handle child trafficking cases.
