The aim of this activity is to ensure effective and high quality CEPOL training by providing tools and knowledge that allow Activity Managers to implement the Curricula and Programmes in line with CEPOL quality standards.

The aim of this activity is to increase the number of successful hostage negotiations by enhancing the capacities of relevant law enforcement staff to combine hostage negotiations crisis communication management by means of their knowledge on the fundamental pre-requisites for such a process. To improve crisis communication reflecting current increased digitisation and the use of social media at an international scale and, consequently, safeguarding the integrity of law enforcement communication to the public.

The aim of this webinar is to raise awareness about the Disaster Victim Identification (DVI) process regulated by the Interpol Guide.

By the end of this webinar, attendees will be able to:

• understand the main purpose of the DVI Process;

• describe the four phases of the DVI process;

• understand and fill in correctly the forms of the Body Recovery, Ante-Mortem and Post-Mortem Processes;

• discuss the roles that form a DVI team;

• decide between the primary and secondary identifiers understand the reconciliation process.
