The aim of this activity is to ensure effective and high quality CEPOL training by providing tools and knowledge that allow Activity Managers to implement the Curricula and Programmes in line with CEPOL quality standards.

The aim of this activity is to increase the number of successful hostage negotiations by enhancing the capacities of relevant law enforcement staff to combine hostage negotiations crisis communication management by means of their knowledge on the fundamental pre-requisites for such a process. To improve crisis communication reflecting current increased digitisation and the use of social media at an international scale and, consequently, safeguarding the integrity of law enforcement communication to the public.

The aim of the webinar is to improve senior law enforcement officers' professional skills for effective recognition and reaction to insider threats within law enforcement agencies.

By the end of this webinar, the audience will be able to:

• explain the insider threat phenomena;

• highlight push/pull factors of radicalisation within law enforcement agencies;

• summarise the challenges and difficulties to implement an insider threat programme within law enforcement agencies;

• recognise Insider Threat Risk Indicators (behaviour detection);

• underline lessons learned from insider threats case studies in the EU.

The aim of the webinar is to introduce the provisions in the new SIS Regulations related data protection.

By the end of the webinar the participants will be able to:

• Describe the relevant provisions in the new SIS Regulations related to data protection;

• Explain the procedures on the exchange of supplementary information related to data protection in the new SIRENE Manual;

• Explain the use of the relevant SIRENE forms.
