The aim of this webinar is to raise awareness and share good practices of effective strategies for police cooperation with the media and social media. The webinar will address the following questions:

  • How to communicate about crime and security challenges?
  • How to ensure transparent and objective communications with the media in a culturally, socially and ethnically diverse society?

This activity aims to provide law enforcement officials with competences to properly identify and investigate hate crimes. Participants will be able to discuss on topics such as EU legislation in this area, reasons of under-reporting of these crimes and the use of critical thinking.


79/2016 Fundamental rights and police ethics - Step 1

06 June 2016 to 10 June 2016

This course aims to raise awareness on the importance of ethical behaviour in day-to-day police work and to enhance the integration of diversity into police management. The scientific approach to measuring personal integrity will be explored.
