The aim of this course is to improve the way social media are used for law enforcement purposes and for sharing good professional police practice. Participants will discuss on new opportunities for investigation offered by these media as well as on legal, ethical and professional limits. They will also have the chance to learn how to intervene in practical situations where social media are used.

Target Audience: 

Senior law enforcement officials interested in sharing best practice on how social media can be applied to police investigations and other law enforcement procedures.
