57/2016 Disaster victim identification management

Participants will learn to set up a disaster victim identification team and the different stages of the identification process. They will also be trained in recovering and handling human remains and personal belongings, and in coordinating the ante and post-mortem investigations in these events.

As a follow-up to the adoption of the European Council Conclusions from June 2015, the European Commission envisages to propose changes to the Schengen Information System (SIS) with the purpose of enhancing its use for the return of irregular migrants.
