Description: 

In order to improve the overall security in the Western Balkans and the EU by combatting organised crime and terrorism, CEPOL initiates the Western Balkan Financial Investigation Exchange Programme. The programme will run until 21 December 2019 and aims at developing sustainable institutional law enforcement capacity for Serbia, Albania, Montenegro, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia and Kosovo by combatting e.g. organised crime and terrorism by implementing financial investigation as a complementary tool in serious crime cases.

Through the webinar, prospective participants of the exchange programme will be informed about the programme’s procedures, conditions and eligibility of officers.

Target Audience: 

The webinar targets at prospective participants of the Western Balkan Financial Investigations Exchange Programme from law enforcement officials (police, tax police, border police, custom officers, prosecutors), members of judiciary institutions and officials of financial investigative institutions. Officials from Serbia, Albania, Montenegro, Bosnia & Herzegovina, the former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia and Kosovo are specifically invited to register for the webinar.
