Aim

The aim of this webinar is to give a general overview of the legal concept of mistreatment of animals, the EU/Italian legislation concerning the protection of animals, the international transport with commercial purpose and the international illegal trafficking of pets. It will be proposed to share best practices and experiences of police activities in this area. This webinar will complete the series of training activities on animal protection proposed by CEPOL this year (including the webinar 30/2015 "Wildlife trafficking" and the course 22/2015 "Environmental crime - wildlife trafficking").
