The aim of this activity is to raise awareness about human rights and to correlate human rights protection with police human resources. This webinar also intends to increase knowledge about EU institutions and to provide in-depth understanding of human rights’ and fundamental freedoms’ necessity for protection, as well as to improve English language legal terminology, by examining case-law of the Court of Justice of the EU.

Upon completion of the activity the participants will be able to:

a) Get acquainted with the Court of Justice of the EU,

b) Enhance their knowledge on human rights,

c) Understand how the EU can protect human rights,

d) Re-evaluate need for human rights protection through police personnel’s own rights.

Target Audience: 

This activity is addressed to the EU Police Personnel.
