International police cooperation is key to combat illegal immigration

From 21 to 23 April 2015, the cities of Michalovce and Sobrance in Slovakia hosted the CEPOL course 2/2015 on illegal immigration. Participants from 23 EU Member States and Switzerland attended this activity, organised with the support of Hungary, the United Kingdom and the EU agencies FRONTEX and EUROPOL.

CEPOL course 24/2015 on money laundering

From 30 March to 3 April 2015, the Scuola di Perfezionamento per le Forze di Polizia in Rome (Italy) organised the CEPOL course 24/2015 on fighting money laundering. 29 participants from European law enforcement agencies attended the course. They had the opportunity to learn relevant investigation techniques and to explore options for international cooperation in this field.

Latvian Presidency CEPOL conference 17/2015 “Cybercrime – Strategic”

On 25-27 March the European Police College (CEPOL) conference "Cybercrime – Strategic" took place in Jūrmala. The aim of the conference was to improve cooperation and harmonise the investigative methods among law enforcement authorities of the EU Member States, as well as to improve public and private partnership and cooperation with the Eastern Partnership countries and EU Candidate countries for combat against cybercrime.
