CEPOL residential activity 20/2018 on Illicit laboratory dismantling (advanced)

On 04-15 June 2018, an international training on handling the investigation casework in hazardous environment at illegal drug manufacturing site titled “Illicit laboratory dismantlingadvanced” organized by Central Forensic Laboratory of the Police took place in Poland. The course, realized under the CEPOL training programme with reference number 20/2018 in collaboration with Europol, took place in Jachranka, where the experts shared their knowledge with the course attendees in form of lectures.

30/2018 Bitcoins and cryptocurrencies - prevention of illegal use

The International Training Centre in Budapest hosted the CEPOL Course 30/2018 titled "Bitcoins and Cryptocurrencies – Prevention of Illegal Use” between the 22nd May and 25th May. Participants included 33 practitioners working in the field of Cybercrime from a total of 27 jurisdictions all over from Europe.

Among the 27 countries there were 24 Member States, 2 Candidate Country (Turkey) and 4 participants from OSCE.

CEPOL 96/2018 on Joint Investigation Teams – Western Balkans

The Academy of European Law (ERA) in Trier, Germany hosted the training course CEPOL 96/2018 JIT - Western Balkans from 23 to 25 May 2018. Organised with the support of ENSP, EJTN, Eurojust, the JIT Network Secretariat at Eurojust, and Europol, the interactive training course was attended by 27 participants from law enforcement, prosecutorial and judicial backgrounds.
