Aims:

  • to enhance false documents’ detection at border crossing points and forensic laboratories;
  • to enhance knowledge and competences of officers facing the recognition and classification of digital printing techniques used in forged, altered or manipulated identity documents in order to cross borders and/or abuse identities.

02/2016 EU external border policy

Participants will be able to analyse the core issues and roots of the problems related to migration flows from Northern Africa, with a special focus on the prevention policy and the recent rescue activities carried out by EU Member States in Mediterranean area of the EU external border.

38/2016 New technologies to detect false documents

Date: 
19 April 2016 to 22 April 2016

Participants will be able to share best practices to improve the detection of false documents and the security standards in this field at border crossing points and forensic laboratories in Europe.
