33/2021 Cybercrime - Advanced Windows file system forensics

The aim of the activity is to enhance cyber forensics works of forensic experts by providing computer forensics practitioners with detailed knowledge on the recovery of investigation items from file systems and by allowing them to explain forensic tools reports and conduct searches beyond usual reported traces in order to establish a trace history, and potential use of anti-forensics.

Webinar 01/2020: An Introduction to Database Forensics

Upon completion of the activity the participants will have a basic understanding about (relational) database systems. Furthermore, participants will have acquired basic knowledge about how to search for and detect common database systems on digital evidence. Finally, they will get to know different ways to seize databases and to analyse them by running basic SQL queries against them.
