EUROMED Police delivers Train-the-trainers course on e-learning techniques

The EUROMED Police project implemented a Train-the-trainers onsite course on e-learning techniques at the premises of the International Training Centre of the Hungarian National Police in Budapest, Hungary. The activity took place from 15 to 19 November and allowed the participants to gain an understanding of the concept of blended learning and basic e-learning techniques. During the course, the trainees also familiarised themselves with authoring tools, webinar applications and learning management systems.

EUROMED Police rolls out CEPOL’s first sub-regional training in Egypt

The EUROMED Police project implemented the Combatting Illicit Firearms Trafficking onsite course in cooperation with the Egypt Police Academy in Cairo from 7 to 11 November. Firearms, war weapons, and ammunition trafficking accelerate organised crime and terrorism, posing a threat to public safety in the Middle East and North Africa Region. The EUROMED Police project aims to increase the capacity of MENA countries to fight this type of crime.

LEEd becomes available to beneficiary partners: CEPOL International Cooperation Projects get their own e-learning space

The EU Agency for Law Enforcement Training has released the multitenancy feature of its e-Learning Management System, LEEd. Through the setup of a new system architecture, CEPOL has made possible the creation of autonomous learning sites and a safe space for localisation and customisation of training resources to serve users of project partners.
