The aim of this seminar is to enhance safety and security in football matches by delivering a more effective, harmonised and European focused policing during these events. Among other topics, participants will deal with the theory of crowd dynamics and how it can be applied to active policing.

Successful CEPOL course on football security across Europe

More than 50 participants from EU Member States and Iceland attended the CEPOL course 58/2015 “Pan-European football security training”, organised from 6 to 10 July by the German Police University in Muenster, Germany. The aim of this activity was to make policing in football matches more effective and harmonised within Europe.
