Webinar Ad Hoc "EU capacity building synergies: ECTEG and the FREETOOL Project"

Participants will learn about the European Cybercrime Training and Education Group (ECTEG), its structure, activities and benefits for the EU law enforcement community. Furthermore, the latest developments, practical information and a demonstration of the FREETOOL Project will be presented.

The aim of this activity is to increase awareness of modern forensic techniques and their impact on policing, as well as of developments and initiatives taken at EU level towards a harmonised approach to forensics. Participants will examine different ways of gathering digital evidence and will gain awareness on the application of ISO standard requirements in forensic laboratories.
