To enhance the competences and deepen the understanding about the set- up and functioning of Joint Investigation Teams. Identifying the roles and responsibilities of JITs leaders, members and participants in order to create synergies and reinforce mutual trust and cooperation between prosecutors, judges and senior police officers leading/operating in a Joint Investigation Team.

CEPOL 94/2018 on Joint Investigation Teams - Implementation

The Academy of European Law (ERA) in Trier, Germany hosted the training course CEPOL 94/2018 on JOINT INVESTIGATIONS TEAM - IMPLEMENTATION that took place in late April. Organised with the support of ENSP, EJTN, Eurojust, the JIT Network Secretariat at Eurojust, and Europol, the interactive training course was attended by 39 participants from law enforcement, prosecutorial and judicial backgrounds.
