Webinar 9/2017 - Cigarette smuggling

The webinar shall describe how modern intelligence and information analysis can support the fight against cross border cigarette smuggling. In this context first the added value of the European Border Surveillance system (Eurosur) operated by the Member States and Frontex will be presented. The webinar will highlight how the EUROSUR system can detect cross-border excise contraband activities and how that information is exchanged between Member States enabling rapid operational responses on emerging crime threats.

24/2017 TOR and Darknet - trafficking from law enforcement perspective

The aim of this course is to enhance cooperation on cross-border cases involving smuggling of drugs, firearms etc. by using The Onion Router (TOR)-networks and Darknet and to harmonise investigative methods between EU and non-EU law enforcement.
