20/2016 Firearms - cross-border investigations

This course aims at developing participants’ skills on prevention of illegal use of firearms and at enhancing police cooperation in this field. The use of Joint Investigation Teams (JITs) and controlled deliveries as tools for firearms-related investigations, together with the gathering of intelligence via EU channels (such as EUROPOL and EUROJUST) will be promoted during the course.

14/2016 TOR and darknet - trafficking of drugs and firearms

The course aims to enhance cooperation in cross-border cases involving smuggling of drugs and firearms by using TOR networks and darknet, and to harmonise investigative methods between EU and non-EU law enforcement officers.
