This webinar will update participants' knowledge on current issues and threats in the area of child sexual exploitation.

Participants will be able to recognise European criminal patterns on counterfeiting, share good practices on interagency and public-private cooperation, and identify the best investigative and administrative countermeasures. The programme includes specific modules on online trafficking of counterfeit goods and on financial investigative/asset recovery measures following successful investigations in counterfeiting.

87/2016 Investigation on Darknet and virtual currencies

The aim of the activity is to train investigators on how to detect, identify and collect intelligence and evidences in order to prosecute criminal activities on the Darknet or by using virtual currencies. It also aims at contributing to a smoother cross-border cooperation by providing standards and common procedures. The modus operandi will be demonstrated through examples linked to illicit trafficking of firearms, drugs and human beings.
