60/2022/ONS: Schengen evaluation – Police cooperation

The activity aims to support the objectives of the evaluation and monitoring mechanism in order to verify the application of the Schengen acquis established under Council Regulation (EU) No 1053/2013 (Schengen evaluation) and to provide the future experts with a sound knowledge of evaluation principles, procedures and techniques.

Webinar 3088/2022: Border management and human rights - information sharing and new technologies in the counter-terrorism and freedom of movement context

The aim of the webinar is to raise awareness among participants on the human rights risks related to increasing data gathering and the usage of data-driven technologies in border security and international police cooperation based on the recent policy brief of the OSCE Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights (ODIHR). ODIHR provides support, assistance and expertise to participating states and civil society to promote democracy, rule of law, human rights and tolerance and non-discrimination.
