The aim of this course is to promote closer cooperation between the EU and non EU law enforcement officials relevant for combating illegal immigration networks operating via Western Balkans region.

Members of the EU Agencies and MS experts will address OCGs’ criminal activities in the context of FII in the Balkans regions. International cooperation, including financial investigations and business model, as well as, collecting and sharing information and identification of vulnerable people. Experts designed by EJTN will give an overview Judicial cooperation and JITs.

Target Audience: 

Law enforcement officials dealing with criminal investigations related to smuggling of migrants links to Western Balkans area. Prosecutors and Judiciary members dealing with criminal cases related to smuggling of migrants link to Western Balkans area (in cooperation with EJTN).
