eLesson: Use of social media by criminals

This eLesson consists of three topic chapters as well as a glossary of terms and abbreviations related to investigations on social media. Users can also check their levels of understanding by considering a selection of quiz questions. In more detail, the topic chapters are:

1. The phenomenon of social media: The widespread usage and other characteristics of social media that enable criminals to exploit it.


34/2020: Cross border exchange of e-evidence

The aim of the course is to provide the knowledge and skills to allow prosecutors and law enforcement officials to fulfil their roles relating to cybercrime investigations, improving the use and exchange of electronic evidence in investigation and prosecution of cybercrime and relevancy and admissibility of such evidence.

32/2020: Conducting forensic searches in various IT devices

The aim of the course is:

  • To enhance skills in cyber forensics area related to recovery of digital evidence or data from IT devices, in particular mobile devices and Internet of Things (IoT),
  • To share experience on computer data analysis, technical aspects of Internet investigations and examination of IT devices.
