Online Course 86/2021: Public-Private Partnerships and other forms to countering terrorism financing

31 May 2021 to 11 June 2021

The overall objective of the training activity is to enhance practitioners’ performance by improving their knowledge on the PPP approach to the financial investigation of terrorism and the financing of terrorism, and in addition by improving skills for using this approach in the context of financial investigations as a tactical tool.

The course will be a platform of cooperation for exchanging knowledge and experiences and a first step of tasks harmonization for LEAs responsible for fighting against terrorism financing.

European Criminal Analysis Conference 2021 - EUCrimACon 21

Europol, together with CEPOL, will be organising on 27 May the ‘EUCrimACon 21’ – the European Criminal Analysis conference.

The aim of this conference is to address criminal analysis in the EU, highlighting both strategic and operational analysis capabilities, as well as the importance of analysis training. The EUCrimACon also aims at showcasing European analytical talents.

The aim of this webinar is to explain the basics of the administrative approach and what a barrier model entails. This will be illustrated by means of the case of synthetic drug production.

By the end of this webinar, the audience will be able to:

  • Understand administrative approach combating organised crime;
  • Understand the purpose of barrier models;
  • Understanding about the case of synthetic drug production.
