Webinar 91/2018 Passenger Name Record (PNR) Directive and processing of PNR data against SIS

The purpose of this webinar is to inform the participants about the passenger name record (PNR) Directive and the role of the Passenger Information Units (PIUs). In particular, the webinar will introduce the review of the SIRENE Manual which is aimed at guiding the interaction amongst Passenger Information Units and SIRENE Bureaux in case of matches against SIS alerts. The webinar will include a practical presentation from an operational PIU unit which will address problematic practical issues and define possible practical solutions.
