The aim of the webinar is to provide an overview on societies' critical infrastructure as potential target for terrorist attack, with particular emphasis on water supply.

By the end of the webinar the participant will be able to:

  • describe, what makes the critical infrastructure of societies an attractive target for terroristic purposes;
  • outline, what kind of operational conditions for authorities and other key players an intentional attack to critical infrastructure is likely to reveal;
  • contrast, why water supply is (not) a potential target.
Target Audience: 

Senior law enforcement officials and other experts responsible for the application, supervision and planning of countermeasures as well as operational and training matters to protect critical public infrastructures from terrorist and/or extremist attacks.
