CEPOL course on THB – labour exploitation in the spotlight

The Swedish National Police Academy (Stockholm, Sweden) organised from 2 to 4 June 2015 the CEPOL course 3/2015 on Trafficking in Human Beings and Labour Exploitation. The overall aim of the course was to improve the way law enforcement agencies address this issue.

Participants from 19 EU Member States and Norway attended this course, including labour inspectors and police officers. Lectures were delivered by experts from the United Kingdom, Belgium, the International Organization for Migration (IOM) and the EU agencies FRA and EUROPOL.

CEPOL course on illicit laboratory dismantling held in Poland

From 1 to 12 June 2015, the Polish Central Forensic Laboratory organised the CEPOL course 9/2015 on Illicit Laboratory Dismantling (advanced level). The activity took place at the International Training Centre on Combatting Clandestine Laboratories in Legionowo (Poland) and at the Conference Centre in Jachranka. Participants from 24 EU Member States, Norway and Iceland attended this activity.

CEPOL course 54/2015 "Mentoring, Monitoring and Advising (MMA) tasks”

The Portuguese Guarda Nacional Republicana organised from 27 to 29 May 2015 the CEPOL course 54/2015 on Mentoring, Monitoring and Advising (MMA) tasks. The activity took place at the School of Guard in Queluz (Portugal) and was attended by law enforcement officers from 20 EU Member States.
