Course 84/2014 “Human rights and policing in Common Security Defense Policy (CSDP) missions”

Human rights have become essential at external security and defence missions. With this idea in mind, the German Police University organised on 27-30 January the CEPOL activity 84/2014 “Human rights and policing in Common Security Defence Policy (CSDP) missions”. The course took place at the premises of the university in Münster, Germany.

Preparing police officers in engaging on EU funded research activities

The German Police University organised on 19-21 January the CEPOL seminar 83/2014 “Initiation, planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of EU funded policing projects” in Münster, Germany. 42 law enforcement officers and research experts from 23 EU Member States came together to learn how to successfully apply for EU funded projects and to implement, monitor and evaluate them according to the relevant requirements.

CEPOL seminar on community policing

15 January 2015

France hosted on 15-19 December 2014 a CEPOL seminar on community policing. The activity was organised by the Ecole Nationale Supérieure de Police (ENSP) in Saint-Cyr-Au-Mont-d’Or. 28 participants from EU Member States and Iceland attended lectures from 7 experts: Sebastian Roché, Christophe Merlin, Mathieu Pancrazzi and Emmanuel Magne (France); Bart Pardaens (Belgium); Paul Phillips (UK); and Mona Nordberg (Italy).
