35 on-site CEPOL training activities will be implemented through grants in 2022
10 December 2021

Following the evaluation of the 50 applications received, CEPOL has published the list of beneficiaries and the corresponding activities to be implemented next year by Framework Partners through CEPOL grants, mainly in the areas of serious organised crime, law enforcement technologies, public order, fundamental rights, leadership and other skills. More precisely, 35 on-site training activities –supported through grants amounting to a total of EUR 953,756.70 –will be implemented by CEPOL Framework Partners in 2022.

A Call for Proposals for grant agreements for the implementation of onsite training activities in 2022 was launched in June 2021, inviting CEPOL Framework Partners to submit their applications, either individually or as a part of a consortium. This call was based on CEPOL’s Preliminary Work Programme 2022, as presented in the draft Single Programming Document 2022-2024.

Framework Partners: working closely with CEPOL

CEPOL implements a vast amount of training activities, including courses, seminars and conferences, through the annual allocation of grants to Framework Partners selected via a restricted Call for Proposals published every four years. The agency finalised in 2020 the call to establish 4-year Framework Partnership agreements for the implementation of training activities and announced the selection of 56 law enforcement organisations and training and research institutions across 26 EU Member States. These 56 Framework Partners are working closely with the agency for the development and implementation of training activities and learning products until 2024. Through continuous and effective cooperation with these partners, CEPOL contributes to the implementation of a specialised training offer available to more than 1.5 million law enforcement officials in the EU.
