In June 2022, the CT INFLOW project implemented a regional activity focusing on crisis management and response in case of cross-border Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear, and high yield Explosives (CBRN-E) terrorist incidents. The French language online course had 26 participants from law enforcement authorities from Algeria, Lebanon, Morocco, Tunisia and three international organisations: the African Centre for the Study and Research on Terrorism (CAERT), AFRIPOL and the Arab Interior Ministers Council (AIMC).
During the course, CEPOL trainers with operational knowledge on CBRN-E and crisis management strategic aspects shared their expertise with the participants to gain an in-depth understanding on key CBRN-E related operational aspects and the working mechanism of international cooperation in the event of a terrorist attack.
