The EU Agency for Law Enforcement Training has decided to end its offer of online courses on personal business skills with a view to sharpen the focus in core law enforcement training needs.

Users from the CEPOL’s law enforcement online platform, LEEd, can still take part until 30 September 2022 in any of the nearly 500 training online modules on leadership & communication, diversity & inclusion, computer & technology, and mental health available under the OpenSesame catalogue.

This online resource, which started being offered to law enforcement officials during the first year of the COVID-19 pandemic, has drawn this year the attention of more than 1,500 LEEd users. With a completion rate of 58%, almost two thirds of the 10,300 activity enrolments are registered as completed. While the top-3 countries per number of users are Ireland, Greece and Portugal, the modules attracting the highest number of users touch upon areas as diverse as data visualization and analysis, leadership and data protection.

CEPOL will consider reincorporating this offering into its training portfolio if additional resources are made available in the future.
