Brussels Liaison Office

The Brussels Liaison Office represents CEPOL to the EU institutions and facilitates close cooperation between Brussels based stakeholders and the Agency.

The office was established in the heart of the European Quarter of Brussels at the end of 2019. It works closely with the European Union institutions, Justice and Home Affairs Agencies and national Permanent Representations to increase policy dialogue and build strategic partnerships, to represent the Agency’s views and interests in the decision-making process.

The CEPOL Liaison Officer facilitates the dialogue and exchange of information with the EU institutions on subject matters relevant to CEPOL's mandate and responsibilities. The Liaison Officer contributes to the strategic management and overall communication of CEPOL towards its stakeholders at EU level and strengthens the visibility by developing and broadening the cooperation with the EU Institutions and Justice and Home Affairs Agencies present in Brussels. The Liaison Officer participates on meetings organised in Brussels to facilitate more efficient planning, implementation and evaluation of training activities relevant to CEPOL both on policy and operational level.
