Online Child Sexual Exploitation (CSE) is a serious crime with profound psychological and physical impacts. The incidence of this crime is growing, associated with the increasing presence of children, including very young children, accessing the internet through mobile phones. Offenders are increasingly technologically aware, operating across both the dark and clear web, using encrypted platforms and closed groups to facilitate grooming, abuse, and to evade detection.
