The aim of this activity is to:

  • establish an enhanced coordination and management of national and international disaster victim identification operations;
  • enhance and harmonise the level of knowledge of law enforcement personnel involved in coordinating and managing disaster victim identification as well as in the identification of deceased victims.
Target Audience: 

Disaster victim identification (DVI) trained personnel with coordinating and management tasks. Participants must have experience and knowledge on DVI work based on their work experience or of their participation in a basic DVI course; this training activity can also be useful for DVI Commanders or Head of DVI Units to attend.
