The aim of the webinar is to improve the handling of and the support for vulnerable persons and victims by law enforcement officers.

At the end of the webinar the participant will be able to:

  • Identify vulnerable persons and differences in the risk of victimisation;
  • Recognise differences in women and men’s experiences of physical violence and harassment;
  • Explain differences across EU Member States in victimisation experiences;
  • Analyse differences in people’s approach to crime experiences, either as a victim or as a witness;
  • Describe people’s perceptions concerning their safety informing their behaviour.
Target Audience: 

Law enforcement officers and police psychologists who are confronted with victims in their daily work.
