TOPCOP trains law enforcement of Eastern Partnership countries on Trafficking in Human Beings

CEPOL’s TOPCOP project implemented a Trafficking in Human Beings regional training between 12-16 September in Bucharest, Romania to enhance the knowledge of investigators and prosecutors from Eastern Partnership countries by analysing current trends and challenges.

Specialists and senior law enforcement officials from Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia and the Republic of Moldova attended this 5-day course to examine the root causes of trafficking, profiles of victims and perpetrators, and the recruitment methods used by traffickers.
