2026 Training Catalogue launched as CEPOL marks 25 years

Training Catalogue 2026

The European Union Agency for Law Enforcement Training (CEPOL) has published its online Training Catalogue for 2026 presenting a comprehensive portfolio of learning opportunities designed to support law enforcement officials across the EU. The catalogue reflects the Agency’s continued commitment to equipping law enforcement practitioners with the skills, knowledge and networks required to address increasingly complex security challenges.

A strong focus is on EMPACT-related training activities, reflecting CEPOL’s continued contribution to the EU’s operational priorities in the fight against serious and organised crime.

A major novelty is the launch of regional onsite training activities, tailored to address specific operational needs at decentralised level. Courses will be delivered across four regional groupings of EU Member States — North, West, Central and South — reinforcing cooperation where it matters most and ensuring training is closely aligned with regional realities.

The catalogue also reflects CEPOL's high degree of flexibility to respond to emerging threats, adapting its offer in line with evolving law enforcement priorities.

In addition, CEPOL introduces a new certified trainers’ programme, a pilot initiative aimed at creating a pool of qualified trainers across the EU. By focusing on the cascading of knowledge — particularly in the area of cross-border cooperation — the programme will support the delivery of consistent, high-quality training standards across Member States. In parallel, the Agency continues to advance the development of micro-credentials, supporting the mutual recognition of law enforcement training at European level and contributing to a more coherent and interoperable EU training landscape.

Commenting on the publication, CEPOL Acting Executive Director, Mailis PUKONEN, stated:

This catalogue reflects our ambition to deliver specialised training that strengthens professional skills, supports cross-border cooperation and responds to evolving law enforcement needs. As we mark CEPOL’s 25th anniversary, we remain committed to equipping practitioners with the tools and knowledge to operate confidently and deliver results across the EU.

The 2026 Training Catalogue is available online and serves as a key reference for law enforcement authorities seeking to plan their participation in CEPOL’s training activities.
