CEPOL and ECTEG deliver a train-the-trainer course on Live Data Forensics

In cooperation with the European Cybercrime Training and Education Group (ECTEG), CEPOL’s train-the-trainer course 38/2026/ONS on Live Data Forensics was successfully completed at the Agency’s headquarters in Budapest. The training provided participants with a blended learning experience, empowering them as future trainers in the field of cybercrime forensic investigations.
Delivered in two different training formats, it kicked off with an online phase, from 1 to 31 May 2026, helping participants deepen their knowledge in preparation of the next phase which was delivered in person. During the online phase they had to complete CEPOL’s train-the-trainer online module, building general skills of trainers in the law enforcement field. Participants also cooperated in groups and delivered group assignments, while 2 live online sessions were organised to provide guidance, answer questions and monitor progress.
The onsite training took place from 1 to 5 June 2026 at the Cybercrime Laboratory at CEPOL’s headquarters in Budapest, enhancing hands-on learning, and creating a dynamic training environment. The course was well received and achieved a 100% satisfaction rate, highlighting its contribution to the train-the-trainer courses on specific cybercrime related topics.
25 Law Enforcement officials from 13 EU Member States and Ukraine attended this intensive programme. They are now ready to deliver training with ECTEG-developed materials on Live Data Forensics and cascade this knowledge across law enforcement authorities in their home countries. We wish them every success!
