The Consolidated Annual Activity Report (CAAR) is drafted in compliance with Article 48 of the Commission Delegated Regulation (EU) 2019/715 of 18 December 2018 on the framework financial regulation for the bodies referred to in Article 70 of Regulation (EU, Euratom) 2018/1046 of the European Parliament and of the Council.
It gives a comprehensive account of the activities carried out by CEPOL in implementing its mandate and of the results achieved in relation to objectives set in the Single Programming Document and Annual Work Programme. An overview on budget implementation and human resources management, audit and risk management activities and the efficiency and effectiveness of CEPOL’s internal control system is also included in this report.
According to Article 48(2) of the Financial Regulation applicable to CEPOL, this report is adopted by the Management Board and submitted to the European Parliament, the Council, the Commission, the Court of Auditors and the national parliaments by no later than 1 July every year.
Once adopted by the Management Board, the report becomes publicly available on CEPOL’s website.
