Michael WILL

Michael has a rich police experience serving now in this 40th year, starting in 1985 in the West-Berlin CID, he faced the reunification of Germany and the merging of 2 Police forces with different background and all the challenges coming with it.

He built up a special unit on fugitive active search, focussing on the arrest of the most wanted criminals and led it about 15 years. After successful assignments as  team leader in the Organised Crime department he joined Europol in 2013. There he was 8 years team-leader and Europol’s EMPACT contact point in Organised Property Crime.

Currently he is working in the coordination team of the organised crime unit and since the beginning of the current EMPACT Cycle he is Europol’s contact point in HRCN and the Coordinator of the CHSG 2.
