The aim of this webinar is to strengthen law enforcement capacity to detect, prevent and respond to cybersecurity threats and insider risks within the context of hybrid warfare. The session will analyse tactics and attack vectors commonly used in hybrid campaigns, identify structural and human vulnerabilities exploited by hostile actors, and examine how insider threats — whether ideologically motivated, coerced or financially driven — can compromise critical infrastructure and law enforcement operations.
By the end of this webinar, the audience will be able to:

  • Explain how cyber operations and insider access can contribute to wider hybrid objectives
  • Distinguish malicious, recruited, coerced and unintentional insider risks from external compromise of legitimate accounts
  • Identify technical and organisational warning signs and assess them against legitimate explanations
  • Select proportionate prevention, incident response and evidence-preservation measures
  • Discuss recent case studies of cyberattacks
