59/2025/ONS: Operational intelligence analysis - Train the Trainer
The aim of this onsite activity is to:
- strengthen the fight against transnational serious organised crime and terrorism through intelligence-led, targeted law enforcement operations;
- enhance the operational intelligence analysis capacity of EU Member States' law enforcement agencies by preparing experienced operational intelligence analysts as current and future trainers to conduct international and national training activities in this field;
- equip participants with instructional design skills, understanding of andragogy principles, and knowledge to deliver effective training courses.

Target audience
- Experienced operational intelligence analysts with extensive knowledge and experience of the fundamentals of operational analysis concepts in relation to transnational serious organised crime and terrorism, as well as the relevant operational intelligence analysis software tools used for this purpose, and/or
- Experienced operational intelligence analysts who are currently working as trainers in this field, or who will be involved in the design, delivery, facilitation, and evaluation of national operational intelligence analysis training programmes and/or sessions in the near future.
All candidates for this course should have the desire and high motivation to become international and national trainers/experts in the respective field of operational intelligence analysis and to increase their competence in training, group work in a multicultural but also national training/working environment.
Selected participants of this course must be also available as of 2026 to deliver training in CEPOL training activities, organised jointly with Europol, on the topic of operational intelligence analysis.
