51/2018 Explosive, security, equipment standards

Law enforcement officers involved in use, supervision and planning of physical security measures in different areas of public security (airport, sport and public events, VIP protection, etc.). As airport and rail were the subject of the course 38/2017, this area shall not be chosen in 2018. The threats are evolving and the terrorist and crime organisations are developing new ways to bypass the existing security controls. The explosive devices used in different areas to carry out attacks have different technical characteristics and the threat amounts (the weight of explosives) vary in different areas. The security technologies used today have different capabilities and limitations (e.g. x-ray, explosive trace detection, security scanners or trace detection portals).
