Law enforcement cooperation, information exchange and interoperability

To combat cross-border crimes and terrorism, law enforcement authorities of different EU countries must cooperate effectively. Large-scale IT systems are crucial for successful cross-border cooperation. CEPOL raises awareness and strengthens the knowledge of law enforcement officials on EU information sharing systems for security and border management, cooperation tools and other support mechanisms available to Member States.
