European Union missions (CSDP)

The EU increasingly invests in capacity-building activities in non-EU countries in order to enhance the safety of the European community. Law enforcement staff deployed in Common Security and Defence Policy (CSDP) missions face specific challenges linked to their unique contexts and work environment. CEPOL contributes through training to the EU Missions’ effectiveness by strengthening the skills of deployed law enforcement staff so they can provide strategic advice in host countries.
