35/2022/ONS: Darkweb and Cryptocurrencies – basics

The activity aims to enhance cooperation on cross-border cases by using TOR and Darkweb and by increasing skills to find virtual currencies (VC) in the course of criminal investigations as well as to identify the existence of a VC wallet, notably in the framework of computer searches.

The aim of the activitiy is to enhance cybercrime investigation by improving the collection, evaluation, analysis and distribution of information for the purpose of tackling all forms of crime, in particular terrorism and organised crime and by improving intelligence collection, in qualitative and quantitative terms.
