The aim of this webinar is to present the relevant provisions and changes in the new Schengen Information System (SIS) regulations and the new SIRENE (Supplementary Information Request at the National Entries) Manual related to alerts for arrest, including making the alerts for arrest unavailable for searching as well as to address the novelties related to objects connected to person alerts.

Upon completion of the activity the participants will be able to:

  • Describe the relevant provisions in the new SIS Regulation related to alerts for arrest;
  • Explain the rules and procedures on the exchange of supplementary information in the new SIRENE Manual related to alerts for arrest;
  • Explain the use of relevant SIRENE forms, in particular A form; T form; F form;
  • Get better understanding of the use of objects connected to person alerts.
Target Audience: 

SIRENE officers, SIS user authorities having access to the system (police, border guard, migration authorities, judicial authorities).
