The aim of this webinar is to improve Law Enforcement Agencies capabilities to understand the political or personal motivation and subculture behind European lone actor violence.

By the end of this webinar, the audience will be able to:

  • Distinguish different forms, signs and ways of radicalisation of lone-actors
  • Recognise the issue of ‘lone-actor terrorism’ (LAT) in Europe: incidents, discourse and definitions and identify key characteristics for further analysis
  • Highlight risk Indicators / factors that can lead to Radicalisation (certain political, personal or religious beliefs)
  • Identify different types of subcultures in the left-wing, right-wing and Islamist scenes and what are their respective dynamics
Target Audience: 

Law enforcement officers; Criminal investigators and representatives from judicial authorities involved in the prevention, investigation and prosecution of Serious and Organised Crime and Terrorism.
